With hearts full of anticipation and hope, the BNDS.SJS 2024 Freshman Registration Day arrived as promised. Bathed in nature’s gentle blessings, BNDS.SJS seemed veiled in a mysterious and fresh aura, quietly awaiting the arrival of a new cohort of young elves. Carrying curiosity and longing for the unknown, these newcomers resembled budding flowers ready to bloom with their unique brilliance in this valley brimming with possibilities.

In this valley imbued with profound meaning, the young elves are about to embark on a journey of wonder. Here, they will not only acquire knowledge but also learn to grow—discovering opportunities amid challenges and strengthening their resolve through adversity. Every exploration will spark inspiration; every interaction will ignite new ideas. All of this will unfold quietly in the enchanted land of BNDS.SJS, radiating the most dazzling light.

Registration Day marks the first day of school. On this day, elves officially take their place in the valley, embarking on their wonderful middle school journey.

In the Wisdom Valley, we gather as one, hearts filled with dreams and eyes gazing at the stars. This is not merely a physical gathering but a hall where wisdom and inspiration intertwine—a harbor where dreams set sail.
 

To help young elves embrace the culture of BNDS.SJS, we invited them to participate in the Xin'an Bazaar and watch performances at the theater before Registration Day. This year’s Xin'an Bazaar featured immersive interactive activities, immersing the young elves in the splendor of traditional Chinese culture.

At the Elves Showcase, the newcomers enjoyed "Echoes of the Valley: 2023-2024 Performing Arts Exhibition". This meticulously curated show brought together senior students from diverse art programs, who dazzled the audience with their exceptional skills and infectious passion. Through this audiovisual feast, the new elves experienced BNDS.SJS’s vibrant culture in a truly immersive way.

On the morning of July 14th, students and parents walked the red carpet to embark on their wisdom-filled journey. Together, let’s stride down the flower-adorned path at BNDS.SJS!

Elves’ Tutors

In the tutor classes, the tutors introduced themselves with humor and warmth, quickly bridging the distance with students. Each class designed unique ice-breaking games, allowing students to bond with peers and tutors while completing challenges.

Together, teachers and students established distinctive class cultures and planned summer routines, fostering a positive and welcoming learning atmosphere. Through relaxed conversations, friendships blossomed, and the group embarked on a journey filled with wisdom and exploration.

Farewell to the Valley

As Registration Day drew to a graceful close, the elves returned home with hearts as bright as a starlit sky, brimming with curiosity and excitement for middle school life. At their parting, their eyes sparkled with a thirst for exploration, while their minds echoed the tutors’ heartfelt encouragement and hopes.

The summer vacation will be a gentle season of preparation—a time for quiet transformation, much like summer flowers in full bloom, gathering strength for growth. When autumn breezes return, they will stride into the new semester with resilience and confidence, ready to embrace every challenge and wonder ahead.

The young elves jubilantly found their tutors, who presented them with admission letters, as their parents witnessed this momentous occasion.

Valley Chronicles: Elf-Tutor Gathering

Next, the young elves’ campus tour reached its most thrilling highlight: participating in BNDS.SJS’s distinctive "course selection and multi-classroom" check-in activity. The campus transformed into a vibrant ocean of knowledge, every corner buzzing with the joy of discovery.

At the "Wangyue Terrace" Chinese learning community, tutors guided the elves to travel through time, converse with ancient scholars, and bring poetry to life on paper, sparking their fascination with literature. In the math learning community, playful games and challenges revealed the magic of numbers and logic... These thoughtfully designed subject-themed check-in activities not only showcased the unique charm of each subject but also nurtured the elves’ passion for learning in a lively atmosphere. More importantly, the experience has laid a solid foundation for their upcoming engagement with the course selection and multi-classroom system, helping them adapt to and anticipate the diverse academic journey ahead.
