On the afternoon of March 21, as the host announced “Let the match begin!”, the finals of the 1st BNDS.SJS Inter-House Badminton Championship erupted in the gymnasium. Representatives from four Houses vied for the championship—players swung rackets like whirlwinds and leapt for smashes on the court, while spectators cheered thunderously off-court. In the end, Summit House claimed victory with relentless attacks, followed by Lunar Horizon House, Solar Radiance House, and Cloud Soarers House securing second, third, and fourth places respectively!

As the third major inter-house event following Ultimate Frisbee and Basketball tournaments, this Badminton Championship unfolded through four phases, embodying the power of perseverance, collaboration, and growth.

Adopting a best-of-five team format with men’s/women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, each game used 11-point rallies (no advantage scoring), intensifying the tempo and drama. Houses strategized lineups and tactics, testing individual prowess while highlighting collective intelligence.

Since the House System's initiation in November 2024, Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball, and Badminton Championships have consecutively ignited campus fervor. Centered on teamwork, cultural legacy, and holistic development, this system transcends grade barriers, nurturing trust, inclusivity, and responsibility through healthy rivalry.
